Leadership Development that changes how your team actually works

Most leadership courses give you a binder and a certificate. Ours gives you a different Monday morning. We work with mid-career managers across Northern Ireland and the wider UK, helping them lead with less friction and more clarity.

Four stages, twelve weeks, real change

1

Diagnostic conversation

We spend 60 minutes mapping your current leadership habits, the friction points in your team, and what "better" would look like for you specifically. No questionnaires, no personality quizzes. Just a frank conversation.

2

Tailored programme design

Based on that conversation we build a 12-week plan. Some clients need one-to-one coaching every fortnight; others benefit more from a small cohort format with peers from different sectors. We decide together.

3

Practice between sessions

Each session ends with a concrete action you carry into your working week. These are small, testable changes: how you open a meeting, how you give feedback, how you handle a disagreement with a peer. We review what happened at the next session.

4

Review and next steps

At week twelve we compare where you started with where you are. Clients often report that their teams notice the shift before they do. We then agree whether ongoing monthly check-ins make sense or whether you are ready to fly solo.

Programmes we run

Pick the format that fits your schedule, your budget, and the kind of support you actually need right now.

One-to-one coaching

Six or twelve fortnightly sessions, 75 minutes each, delivered over video or in person at our Schoen-upon-Hyatt office. Ideal when you want to work through a specific challenge: a difficult team dynamic, a promotion you are preparing for, or a pattern you keep repeating.

Small-group cohorts

Groups of five to eight managers from different organisations meet every two weeks for twelve weeks. The cross-sector mix is deliberate: you learn as much from a logistics manager's perspective as from a tech lead's. Runs three times per year, starting in February, June, and October.

In-house team programmes

We come to your organisation and work with an intact leadership team over eight to sixteen weeks. This format works well when the issue is not individual skill but how the group makes decisions, handles conflict, or communicates across departments.

360-degree feedback facilitation

We design and run a feedback process that collects honest input from your direct reports, peers, and line manager. Then we sit with you for two hours to interpret the data and turn it into a practical plan. No generic report dumped on your desk.

Transition coaching

Moving from individual contributor to manager? Or from manager to director? The first 90 days in a new role shape how people see you for years. We offer a focused six-session package that covers the specific traps of role transitions.

Ongoing monthly retainer

For leaders who have completed a programme and want a regular sounding board. One 60-minute session per month, with email access between sessions for quick questions. Most retainer clients stay for six to eighteen months.

Senior leadership coach in conversation at the Spotlight Pro office

Why we started this

The founder of Spotlight Pro spent fourteen years managing engineering teams before retraining as a coach. The frustration that drove the switch was simple: every leadership course he attended felt disconnected from the actual Tuesday-afternoon reality of managing people.

So we built something different. Our programmes are short, specific, and grounded in what happens when you walk back into the office after a session. We do not teach theory for theory's sake. If a model or framework does not change behaviour within a week, we drop it.

We are based in Schoen-upon-Hyatt, Northern Ireland, but work with clients across the UK by video. About half our coaching happens on screen; the other half is face-to-face, either at our office or at the client's workplace.

Questions people ask before signing up

One-to-one coaching runs from £1,800 for a six-session package to £3,200 for twelve sessions. Group cohort places are £1,100 per person. In-house team programmes are priced per engagement because scope varies; we quote after the diagnostic conversation. All prices exclude VAT.
Yes. We hold evening slots on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 8pm. Early morning sessions from 7:30am are available on Wednesdays. Weekend sessions are not offered.
Individual sessions can be rescheduled with 48 hours' notice at no charge. If you need to pause a programme for more than four weeks, we freeze your remaining sessions and resume when you are ready. Refunds are available for unused sessions within the first 30 days.
Not at all. About a third of our clients lead through influence rather than authority: project leads, technical architects, senior consultants. The skills are the same, even if the org chart looks different.
We do. Roughly 40% of our current clients are based in England or Scotland. Video sessions make geography irrelevant for one-to-one and group work. In-house programmes outside Northern Ireland involve travel, which we quote separately.

Let's have that first conversation

The diagnostic call is free, lasts about an hour, and comes with no obligation. If we are not the right fit, we will tell you honestly and point you somewhere better.
